
Chris LaFountain has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has spent time at Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Ciccarelli Advisory Services over the course of his career. After many years working for other people and large corporate brokerage firms, Chris established LaFountain Financial Services in 2018, an independent practice where he provides a high level of personal service to his clients. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, and also holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial and has his NY life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses. Prior to launching his career in financial services, he worked for Xerox Corporation and served in the New York Army National Guard.
Chris grew up in the Rochester area. He currently lives in East Irondequoit, NY with his wife Beth, who is an elementary school teacher, and their twin boys. In addition to spending time with his family, Chris enjoys skiing, biking, gardening, and travel. He is a member of St. Benedict’s parish in Canandaigua, NY.
Chris is also an active volunteer with Rochester’s Flower City Habitat for Humanity. He is a member of the Family Selection Committee, on-site builder, and mentor to new homebuyers in the Habitat program.
